En la actualidad la función de la educación formal conlleva la formación personal y académica, teniendo como objetivo el desarrollo de las potencialidades humanas en creación de individuos capaces de responder a las exigencias de la sociedad actual.
En tanto, la función familiar, desarrolla las bases del proceso de formación del ser humano, asimismo, tiene la responsabilidad de brindar el amor, la provisión de las necesidades fundamentales y valores.
La crianza y la educación de los hijos, es un tema complejo y más en estos tiempos de pandemia donde los niños han sido los más afectados por diversas variantes, entre ellas, el encierro, el cambio de actividades de los adultos y la inasistencia a la escuela, si bien es cierto que los progenitores y docentes se esfuerzan por dar su mayor esfuerzo en satisfacer diferentes necesidades, en diversos contextos y medios económicos, también es cierto, que los niños generalmente quedan en segundo término, siendo cuidados por segundas o terceras personas y relacionándose e instruyéndose por medio de un monitor, presentando perjuicio en base a sus necesidades reales y periodos de desarrollo.
En consecuencia, es fundamental ser conscientes que los resultados que se esperan de los niños como alumnos y como sucesores a corto, mediano y largo plazo, dependen de las acciones que se realizan en el presente, por consiguiente, es importante considerar un acompañamiento bondadoso, paciente, entusiasta y amoroso; observar las necesidades reales de los niños permite atenderlas, con tiempo de calidad, responsabilidad y compromiso, dando pauta a la adquisición de conocimientos significativos y un óptimo desarrollo personal.
